All Alan Gibson sprung locomotive buffers are self-contained and have a very light compression rate - the weight of a plastic wagon being sufficient to make the heads close up. It is possible, with these items, to re-create the sight of a locomotive buffering up to your stock. The heads are turned from steel for realism and the bodies are machined in brass for strength. They are supplied in packs containing parts for four buffers.
